Who we reach. Advertisements on this website reach U.S. importers, U.S. purchasing managers, U.S. customs brokers, U.S. freight forwarders, U.S. and foreign customs and trade lawyers, international trade academics from around the world, and foreign producers and producers and exporters of merchandise subject to antidumping duty or countervailing duty investigations or reviews.  We draw our audience through twitter (@importerhelp), blog entries, and other marketing strategies.  Thus, you have a targeted audience of potential customers and clients in the international trade field.

Ad dimensions & asthetics.  Advertisements must be no larger than 200 pixels wide by 80 pixels high, and must have either a white background or fade-to-white edges.  These requirements are necessary to maintain the asthetics of the website.  ImporterHelp.com reserves the right to reject any proposed advertisement if that ImporterHelp.com determines, in its sole discretion, is not in harmony with the asthetics of the ImporterHelp.com website.

Ad placement.  There are only two ad areas per page (see above).  You may request placement on any specific page or pages within ImporterHelp.com, and those spaces may be reserved prior to payment for a period of 7 calendar days (during which time payment must be made).  However, we reserve the right to place your ads on pages that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be the most similar pages available if ad space on the requested page has already been reserved and paid for, or has been reserved within the past 7 calendar days.   Advertisement space may only be purchased for as many as six months at any one time.

Our prices.  The price for advertising on non-premium pages is $25.00 per month.  Non-premium pages include any FAQ page (including the FAQ home page), any news item page, specific country or product pages, or specific investigation pages.   The price for advertising on premium pages is $50.00 per month.  Premium pages include the ImporterHelp.com home page, the News home page, the Investigations home page, the Pages of New Investigations in the months prior to the Department of Commerce Preliminary Determination, the Orders by Product home page, and the Orders by Country home page.  There is no advertisement space on the Who we are, Advertise, Contact, or Links pages.  Further, the Law Firms page is dedicated solely to law firm and lawyer listings (the Links page will not contain links to lawyers or law firms).

Lawyer and Law Firm listings.  Listings on the Law Firms page may be requested by any lawyer or law firm that practice in areas of the law that concern importers -- primarily, antidumping and countervailing duty law and customs law.  Any lawyer or law firm satisfying this criterion may secure a standard listing at a price of $25.00 per quarter per listing.  (Each listing may only list one lawyer or the law firm, thus a law firm that wants to list itself and three attorneys would have to pay 4 x $25.00 = $100.00 for the four listings per quarter.  This price includes any partial quarter prior to the first full year of listing (e.g., if ABC Firm contacts info@importerhelp.com and pays for a quarter's listing on May 15, 2010 (half way through the second quarter of the year), the $25.00 payment fully pays for the listing from the payment date through September 30, 2010 (i.e., to the end of the third quarter of the year).  These prices and time frames are subject to change without notice, however, ImporterHelp.com will not increase rates applicable to current quarter listings.  Unless delisting is requested, ImporterHelp.com reserves the right to maintain lawyer and law firm listings, and also reserves the right to reorganize unpaid listings.

A standard listing includes the lawyer's (or law firm's) name, address, and contact information, including a link to any one web page in the lawyer's or law firms' website.  Premium listings are available, and include either a customized logo appearing in the space where the lawyer's name and listing would normally appear, or involve premium placement in the top two rows of the law firms and lawyers listing, or both.  Premium listings require an additional $50.00 monthly charge, per premium listing, payable in advance of publication in 3-month blocks.  Premium listings appearing in the top two rows of listed lawyers and law firms will only be available for the next quarter calendar year, with market conditions determining price.  Placement among the top two rows will be by preference of the lawyer or law firm in the order of the longest continuous premium listing.  If fewer than 8 premium placement advertising spaces have been requested and paid for, listings in those spaces will be filled by the longest continuously listed firms at the applicable standard rate.  ImporterHelp.com reserves the right to waive charges in exchange for substantive contributions to the content of ImporterHelp.com, which ImporterHelp.com, in its sole discretion, can propose, accept, or reject.

Who to contact.  To advertise on ImporterHelp.com, please send an email with your .jpeg or .gif advertisement and page placement requests to info@importerhelp.com.  We will contact you to finalize placement and duration.  We can help arrange ad design if you do not have your own ad designer.

Payment.  The month begins on the first day of each calendar month and ends on the last day of the same calendar month.  The price is the same regardless of the number of hits on the page during the calendar month, the number of click-throughs during the calendar month, or whether the calendar month has 28, 29, 30, or 31 days.  New ads will be posted for an entire calendar month.  However, Importerhelp.com reserves the right -- at no additional cost to the advertiser -- to post ads earlier than the first day of the calendar month for which advertising space has been purchased. 

Payment must be received by ImporterHelp.com within 7 days of a request to reserve space on a specific page within the ImporterHelp.com website, and in advance of the calendar month in which advertisement is requested.  If payment is not received by ImporterHelp.com within those 7 days, ImporterHelp.com will not guarantee placement on the requested pages.  However, if payment is received after the 7 days, but before the beginning of the next calendar month, ImporterHelp.com will place the ad on the pages that ImporterHelp.com determines, in its sole discretion, to be the most similar to the requested pages.  ImporterHelp.com will also honor additional requests after having recieved payment, to the extent possible.

Payment may be made by check, money order, or wire transfer.  Information necessary to complete payments will be provided upon completed advertisement agreement.
