Initiation Notice On October 26, 2009, the U.S. Department of Commerce Announced the Initiation of administrative reviews of the antidumping duty orders on certain lined paper products from India and China, certain new pneumatic off-the-road tires from China, freshwater crawfish tailmeat from China, and light-walled rectangular pipe & tube from Mexico; and of the countervaing duty orders on certain hot-rolled carbon steel flat products from Brazil and certain new pneumatic off-the-road tires from China. Reviews of more than 70 companies were requested. The proceedings typically are completed in one to one-and-a-half years, and calculate the antidumping and countervailing duty assessments that will be collected from importers. Importers paid cash deposits for estimated antidumping and countervailing duties when entering the merchandise into the United States. If you have overpaid, the overpayment will be refunded with interest. If you underpaid, the deficiency will be billed to you, with interest. All entries of merchandise subject to antidumping and countervailing duty orders with September anniversary months not covered by these reviews will be liquidated as entered. |
